Omar Longoria, Partner and Co-Owner of Vitality Family Medical Group, draws upon 20+ years of diverse nursing experience and holds licensure as a nationally board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner since 2021, with expertise spanning emergency medicine, medical-surgical care, transitional care, geriatrics, and COVID-19 critical care units. Notably, Omar has excelled as the first NICHE program Director for South Texas's largest hospital system, optimizing gerontology nursing care, and has led as Nursing Director managing the region's largest COVID-19 unit at the pandemic's peak. Longoria applies his compassionate patient advocacy and clinical excellence as a Family Nurse Practitioner, currently pursuing his Doctoral degree in Nursing Practice (DNP) at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
